An Oklahoma State University alumnus who died in August has left the school almost $5 million in securities. M.B. “Bud” Seretean established a trust to benefit two campus facilities that bear his name, two of the university’s colleges and the OSU athletic department.

Boone Pickens $100 million gift to OSU for endowed chairs last week nearly doubled a backlog of $124.5 million that was barely addressed by an agreement between the governor and the legislature last week to include $100 million in matching funds program in a bond issue that also includes money for other items.
