Origin of Nacho Libre

Wrestling fans across Mexico celebrated the 75th anniversary of “Lucha Libre” (free fight) Friday. Mexican wrestling is more than just a sport.
It has become a national tradition that unites people regardless of age, education and social status. As for the rest of the world, Lucha Libre is a cultural icon that represents Mexican identity [...]

Juicy Campus worse than everyday gossip

“Oklahoma State is Juicy.” You’ve probably seen this Facebook advertisement. It sounds like an advertisement for fruity chewing gum.

Styrofoam concerns

Using white foam cups and containers is just as wrong as picking your nose in front of your in-laws. I never use them, and I have a hard time watching other people use them.

It’s my potty, and I’ll be wry if I want to

As the title reads, I’m having bathroom problems. Not personal problems, rather problems with other people in the bathroom. Problems with the way they conduct their business. Someone has not been reading up on his bathroom etiquette.

Make your vote count

This election promises to be one of history’s most exciting. About 44 million 18-to-29-year-olds are eligible to vote, according to Rock the Vote. We represent more than one-fifth of the electorate, and the way we vote will decide the election. However, there’s more to voting than just checking the box next to some dude’s name.

So it’s going to be your first time…

We know you’re nervous, but relax. Take your time, and don’t make a hasty, last-minute decision. Make sure to pick the right person, and learn all you can about that person to make sure you’re compatible.

America: Not as we

Americans love a good narrative. Yet, what they seem to love even more than that is an artfully constructed, though not necessarily true, fairy tale, a contemporary myth in which a young hero sets out on an impossible quest to prove his self-worth and carve his place in history. U.S. women’s gymnastic team ‘good sports’

The U.S. is a competitive nation. If we aren’t competing against someone else, we are competing against ourselves. Each individual wants to be better than the other. Our athletes are some of our greatest heros, and we like to think our world-class athletes are better than the rest of the world.
