Another Beverly Hills alumnus is returning to the CW’s successful “90210.”
Jason Priestly, who graced the screen as Brandon Walsh in the original “90210” is returning but this time behind the camera.
The 1990s heartthrob has agreed to direct an episode later this season, according to Entertainment Weekly.
But don’t expect to see Brenda’s twin brother roaming the halls of West Beverly High. This is strictly a directing gig.
Priestly helmed several episodes of his “90210” back in the day so this isn’t his first rodeo.
Not only is Jennie Garth an indefinite presence, Shannen Doherty will return for at least two episodes and Tori Spelling is in the cards for a future appearance.
“90210” continues to exceed the CW’s expectations and strengthen its ties to the original ‘90s teen soap.
I know you guys are just dying for a little “Smallville” talk, and it’s my civic duty as a TV fanatic to oblige.
I couldn’t be happier with this season so far.
It started with a bang and refocused the attention on Clark. This latest episode showed that it’s not here to play around.
It’s not-so-super debut had me doubting the very foundations of my love for the show.
Speaking of Smallville’s terrible seventh season, the CW has revealed that Laura Vandervoort is making an appearance in an upcoming November episode.
Last season, Vandervoort played Kara, Clark’s Kryptonian cousin, Supergirl.
Her story line was abysmal at best, so at least they will resolve it.
So, I haven’t talked about “Gossip Girl” in a while, and I’ve found the juiciest bit of news ever.
Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello has revealed that one of the show’s characters is going to die soon.
But that’s not even the best part.
Ausiello posted a list of five potential candidates.
Who is it?
It’s either Vanessa or Bart.
Blair has her sights on Vanessa, and we all know how that turns out.
Plus the show wouldn’t lose much, although I do love Vanessa.
But the more likely character is Bart Bass.
His death would not only create more emotional baggage for our favorite slimeball, Chuck Bass, but also free Lily up to date Rufus.
Hopefully these theories are closer than my “Grey’s Anatomy” predictions.
Speaking of “Grey’s,” TV Guide reports that the doctors at Seattle Grace will land another colleague.
Mary McDonnell of “Battlestar Galactica,” will appear in a November episode of the show, marking the start of her recurring role as a surgeon.
Don’t forget to watch “Fringe” (FOX) and “The Mentalist” (CBS) tonight at 8.
They’re on at the same time, but hey, that’s what DVR is for.
Stay tuned!
