‘Let’s go fly a kite, up to the highest height’

Mark Gregory’s geographical information system class took advantage Tuesday of a cold, windy day on the library lawn. The class is learning how to take aerial surveys with only a kite and a camera.

Brendan Schmidt, a fourth-year landscape architecture student, sees how high he can get his kite to see the pictures from a bird’s-eye view.
