Tonight, OSU’s green grass is turning blue.
The Student Union Activities Board is holding the second annual Bluegrass Festival which will begin at 8 p.m. on Library Lawn.
The festival will feature Midnight Earl, a local bluegrass band from Guthrie.
The concert is free to students.
There will be free food from Charlie’s Chicken as and SUAB will provide ice-cold refreshments.
Connor Cosgrove, an accounting junior and SUAB member, said close to 200 attended the concert last year, and even more are expected to come out this year.
“I was excited about how many people in the area liked bluegrass,” Cosgrove said. “And I was happy that we had another event to offer students. “
The SUAB brings many events to the OSU campus to try to provide students with wholesome entertainment.
