Instead of donating money, T. Boone Pickens will teach us how to make it.
Pickens will visit OSU on Sept. 5 for a book signing of “The First Billion is the Hardest.”
Seating is limited, but students can win tickets.
Students can e-mail lib-pub@okstate.edu with their names, birthday, e-mail addresses, phone numbers and 100 words or less explaining why they would like to attend. Winners will be contacted between Thursday and Sept. 2.
Tickets are $100 and include seating at the dinner and lecture, and admission to the book signing. All proceeds will go directly toward OSU libraries.
Wednesday is the last day to place reservations.
The book signing reception will begin at 6:15 p.m. at the Conoco Philips OSU Alumni Center.
Pickens’ book will be available for purchase. During his conversation, Pickens will discuss his new book along with the Pickens Plan, which covers his development and advocacy of a new U.S. energy plan.
