STILLWATER, Okla. — Oklahoma State used six home runs to power past Western Illinois, 14-1, Tuesday night at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium.

Senior Rebel Ridling led the attack with a pair of homers as the No. 8 Cowboys improved to 38-14 on the season. OSU concludes the regular season with a 26-4 record on its home field.

Ridling was one of five Cowboys with multiple RBIs against the Leathernecks (18-28), who used eight different pitchers in the game.

Dean Green led OSU with a career-high four RBIs, while Matt Hague and Luis Flores drove in three runs apiece.

Sophomore Tyler Blandford earned the win on the mound to improve to 4-4 on the season. The right hander racked up a career-best nine strikeouts in five innings and allowed just one run on two hits.

OSU got on the scoreboard early via the long ball as Hague delivered a solo homer in the bottom of the first to give the Cowboys the lead.

The score remained 1-0 until the fourth when OSU rallied for six runs on seven hits, three of which were home runs.

Green led off the inning with a home run, his fourth of the season, and two batters later, Ridling hit his first homer of the game, also a solo shot.

After a double by Tom Belza, Flores made the score 4-0 with a two-run homer, and later in the frame, Green collected two more RBIs on a single.

Flores made the score 8-0 with a sacrifice fly in the fifth, and in the sixth, a four-run rally was the result of Hague’s two-RBI double, a sac fly by Green and Ridling’s second solo blast of the game. The homer also marked Ridling’s team leading 15th of the season.

OSU concludes the regular season this weekend against Bedlam rival Oklahoma. Friday’s opener is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Tulsa’s Drillers Stadium, while the final two games will be played at Oklahoma City’s AT&T Bricktown Ballpark. Saturday’s game will start at 7:35 p.m., while Sunday’s finale is scheduled for 4 p.m.
