Quick roster turnover helped Oklahoma State’s women’s basketball team go from the bottom of the Big 12 to the NCAA tournament. It also cost the Cowgirls a scholarship.

Sam Aubrey, a member of the 1946 Oklahoma State NCAA Champion basketball team and the head coach for the Cowboys from 1970 until 1973, died Monday afternoon in his home. He was 85.

Each year, thousands of Special Olympics Oklahoma athletes pour into Stillwater to put their abilities on display. The athletes are divided into teams, based on the region they live and compete in. There are 14 teams with various numbers of people on each team.
