A student who suffered injuries from a traffic collision died in the hospital Friday, according a Stillwater Police Department news release.
Christopher Anderson, 20, of Euless, Texas, died of severe head and internal injuries after his car swerved into oncoming traffic and hit another car on West 26th Street.
Anderson, a business management junior, was flown to the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City shortly after midnight Friday morning.
Another student, Andrew Chilicki, was riding in Anderson’s car and was treated on the scene for minor injuries. Cecil Benson, the driver of the other vehicle, wasn’t hurt, the Associated Press reported Saturday.
Police said they are investigating the cause of the collision.
A wake and mass will be held for Anderson in Coleyville, Texas, on Monday and Tuesday.
