Kuehn, Nedovyesov win O’Colly Athletes of the Year

Sophomore Leah Kuehn and sophomore Oleksandr Nedovyesov have won The Daily O’Collegian’s Athletes of the Year award.

About 1,500 votes were cast on ocolly.com from April 7-11, with Kuehn receiving 480 and Nedovyesov getting 209.

Kuehn went 12-2 in reigning discipline this season and won three MVP awards for the equestrian team.

Nedovyesov is the No. 8 tennis player in the nation and No. 1 in the Big 12.

He has won every set in Big 12 play this season.

The Cowboys host a Bedlam match Wednesday at 2 p.m.
