Oklahoma State’s Cowgirl softball team will host the 18th-ranked Baylor Bears this weekend in the Big 12 home opener for OSU at the Cowgirl Softball Complex.
Games are set for noon Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday’s game was originally scheduled for 2 p.m. but was changed to avoid conflicting with the Cowgirl basketball game at 1:30 p.m.
Oklahoma State is 15-17 overall this season and 0-2 in league play.
The Cowgirls split their two games at the annual Border Wars series on Wednesday, defeating Tulsa 4-2 before falling to Arkansas 4-0.
Baylor is 18-10 overall and 1-3 in Big 12 Conference action after being blanked by Texas A&M 8-0 Wednesday night.
The Bears were 51-16 a year ago and won the Big 12 title.
They also advanced to the Women’s College World Series and were preseason No. 8 nationally.
Oklahoma State plays its next four games and 13 of the next 15 at Cowgirl Stadium.
After the Baylor series this weekend, OSU will host North Texas in a make-up game on Tuesday evening at 5 p.m. before hosting Oklahoma in the Bedlam Series on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
