NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — University of Oklahoma men’s basketball coach Jeff Capel appears to have reached agreement with the school on a raise and a contract extension.
The Tulsa World reported Thursday he has agreed to a deal subject to approval by the school’s regents.
There was no word on the length of his new contract or his new salary.
Capel was given a $100,000 raise last summer and makes $750,000 a year.
He already was under contract through June 30, 2012.
