The Stillwater planning commission approved plans for the final plat of the North Tower Park Addition after a vote on Monday.
The commission unanimously approved the request 4-0, with Becky Teague absent.
The addition is at Perkins Road and Northgate Drive.
Four sections of the addition have been developed.
The 12.74 acre property has 24 residential lots zoned small lot single family and two commercial lots zoned community shopping.
The preliminary plan was approved in September 2005 and was rezoned for residential development in October 2005, according to the city report.
Commissioner Robert Hudson said he knows someone who lives in the original North Tower Park divisions who experiences low water pressure and has had to re-sod the backyard because drainage has washed everything out.
Although the water tower is very close, many residents in the area experience low water pressure. However, building the final addition should not decrease water pressure any further, senior planner Ryan Sigworth said.
