Paris Hilton has defied all logic and most science, surviving to the ripe old age of 27. To celebrate, she threw an ’80s party. Oddly enough, Britney Spears’ former manager, Sam Lutfi, emerged from wherever he was hiding and made an appearance.
Her new movie, “The Hottie and the Nottie,” went straight to DVD. Surprise surprise. Hopefully Hollywood takes the hint and makes it illegal for her to be cast in anything other than pornos.
Speaking of Britney Spears, it appears that she has started some sort of gang war. No, that’s not the punch line. It’s true.
The New York Daily News reported that members of the Crips and Bloods are taking up cameras and battling it out with the seasoned paparazzos. According to their report, “They claim rival agencies are arming the thugs with cameras and sending them out to do battle with the dozens of paps who rubberneck around Hollywood’s favorite train wreck.
Veteran snapper Nick Stern, who quit the Splash agency this month, said: ‘I’ve heard stories of fights, of car tires being slashed, cars being blocked in.,’”
Sometimes the jokes just write themselves, folks.
Amy Winehouse had quite the night Sunday. She took home five Grammys out of the six categories in which she was nominated: Record of the Year, Best New Artist, Song of the Year for “Rehab,” Best Vocal Album and Best Pop Vocal Performance.
She lost Best Album of the Year to Herbie Hancock, who, until actually seen at the Grammys, was believed to be dead.
