The show that inspires everyone in America to learn the cha cha is back for its fourth season, and the contestants are bringing their “A” game. We don’t know yet whether this cast will have the same amount of talent as former winners Emmitt Smith or Apolo Anton Ohno, but either way it will be a blast watching them! Here’s what happened last night.
“Dancing with the Stars”: Monday night’s episode was all for the women, and they tore it up! Achieving some of the highest scores on the first episode, their performances left the men sweating bullets.
The men definitely brought their best games. Two-time Indianapolis 500 champion Helio Castroneves and his partner — last season’s champion, Julianne Hough — scored the highest marks of the night. Another crowd-pleaser emerged: model Albert Reed, by far the sexiest performer of the night. He left the crowd yearning for more.
Las Vegas entertainer Wayne Newton on the other hand had no idea what he was doing. He has recorded an astounding 165 albums so far. Maybe he should stick to that.
So far, our favorite is the fabulous former Spice Girl (as well as Eddie Murphy’s latest baby mama), Melanie Brown.
Tune in for tomorrow’s elimination episode where Grammy-winner Dolly Parton will make an appearance.
Wednesday Preview: Watch the CW’s “America’s Next Top Model” and “Gossip Girl.” And finally, “Grey’s Anatomy” spin-off “Private Practice” will have its premiere on ABC.
