Don’t get too excited everyone, but only 27 days until Tyra returns to television to be fierce on “America’s Next Top Model.” But until then, MTV gets us through Wednesday night.
“The Real World Sydney” — The show has been jam-packed with drama and cat fights in MTV’s 19th season of America’s first reality show. It’s weird to think that “The Real World” has been on for 15 years. We remember the good seasons back in the day, such as New Orleans and Chicago, when the roommates seemed older and much cooler somehow. This season, there are four girls and three boys. Isaac hooked up with a random girl from Ireland. This season is definitely better than Austin, but not as good as San Diego.
“Newport Harbor: Real OC” — We don’t know why MTV decided not to continue the “Laguna Beach” series, which we LOVED, by the way. But, such is life. We move on to other shows about the real Orange County. Frankly, we are not too sure we believe the boys on the show are actually in high school. But, we decided to give the show a chance anyway. This week, Allie threw a “Pretty in Pink” party while Clay is having reservations about Chrissy. Although this spin-off is not as entertaining as the original, Allie seems to have a lot of Kristin Cavalleri in her, which thrills us a little bit. We’ll see if this one lasts.
