• The Student Union tells Neil that artists must be approved.

• The All-American Rejects and The Fray are chosen and approved.
• The team has the decision to choose either Guster or Jack’s Mannequin.
• Guster is chosen after Neil searches Facebook and finds a larger number of Guster fans.
• The Fray backs out, and Guster takes another offer.
• Pat Green is selected for an opener.
• The executive team is told the only way Orange Peel will go on is if The All-American Rejects agree.

You didn’t add that the production team (sound, lights, etc.) never got a firm ok for the date from the production company. And who told the executive team that OP would be cancelled unless AAR were booked?
