It was fathered by James Madison and adopted by the American people as the part of the U.S. Constitution known as the Bill of Rights. The First Amendment protected the freedom of religion, speech, the press, the public’s right to peaceably assemble and citizens’ rights to petition the government. In many ways, it was what set America, “the home of the free,” apart from the rest of the world.

OSU blocks file sharing on wireless network

OSU blocked peer-to-peer file sharing on OSU’s wireless network beginning June 1 because copyright laws were being violated.
OSU Information Technology decided to block P2P file sharing to reduce risks to the network resources, comply with federal copyright laws and protect faculty, staff and students, said Eric Maynard, IT manager, through e-mail correspondence.
