Six Cowboys make All-Tournament
With the Cowboys dominating performance this past weekend, six of the team members received the nod for the All-Tournament team in the Fayetteville Regional. Many students departed Stillwater after the spring semester was over. They were off to get jobs, return to parents or simply vacation. OSU turned into a ghost town with barren streets and empty parking lots.
It’s no secret that gas prices are entirely too high for the average consumer. Normally riding a bike or any number of fuel-free transport alternatives would be suggested, but if you’ve been outside you would know that it’s, well, less than pleasant — even in the shade.
The summer of 2007 is the season of the album (or so the record companies would have us believe).
Summer is the season of barbecues, trips to the lake, late nights and, this year, movie sequels. All your favorite movies are back in parts two, three and four: “Hostel: Part II,” “Shrek the Third,” “Spider-Man 3,” “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End,” “Live Free or Die Hard” (aka “Die Hard 4”) and others. Catch these flicks as the summer of the sequel begins:

Stillwater residents may have to start looking for new routes of transportation this summer due to massive amounts of construction work.
Three of OSU students’ favorite businesses, Cecil’s, Leo’s, and Fazoli’s, closed this summer. After being closed for several months, House of Greek is reopening on Sixth Avenue this week.
Friday’s storm scattered up to 7 inches of rainfall across the city, shutting down streets and businesses, officials said.
Small children were drawn to this colt and her mother during Saturday’s mini horse show. The Oklahoma Miniature Horse Club, Inc. hosted a show Saturday at the Payne County Expo Center. About 300 people attended the show, which featured about 65 miniature horses from Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas and Colorado. The OMHCI is enthusiastic about bringing [...]
