Oklahoma State steps out of Big 12 play to face its final nonconference opponent on the schedule when Central Arkansas visits Cowgirl Stadium on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
Central Arkansas comes in with a 9-27 record and is 1-14 in Southland Conference play. UCA snapped a 14-game losing streak with a victory against Stephen F. Austin in its latest game.
OSU is 23-19 after sweeping a conference series against Iowa State. Senior Courtney Totte continued to punish the ball as she went 5-for-7 with two home runs and eight RBIs, while both Jessica Hoppock and Anna Whiddon pitched well to earn wins.
The Bears are hitting .218 as a team and have allowed an average of five runs per game. Brittany Bearden leads the team with a .267 average, while Janae Owns has been the biggest run producer with 20 RBIs. Lyndsey Harris has thrown most of the innings and is 4-13 with a 4.89 ERA.
