Cowboys pull off close Bedlam victory

Faced with adversity, Cowgirls show determination
It is no secret that this year’s Cowgirl basketball team is much improved from last season. The Cowgirls averaged 58 points per game last year in contrast with this year’s average of 76. They rebound better, shoot free throws better, and play tougher defense. In fact, they have improved in virtually every statistical category.

Texas Roadhouse coming to town
The Stillwater City Commission approved special use permits for a Texas Roadhouse restaurant in Stillwater at its meeting Monday.
“The main reason we need a (special use) permit is because of the sale and distribution of alcohol that will be served at the restaurant,” said Ryan Sigworth, a commission senior planner.
ResLife decision will close dorm
Residential Life will decide whether to close Iba or Parker Hall by the end of this month or the first of February.

The Cowboy basketball team won the first Bedlam match of the season. OU swept the Cowboys last season, but OSU came out of Gallagher-Iba arena with a five-point advantage Monday.
