The No. 4-ranked Aggies swept all three doubles matches and won four-of-six singles matches.
“I expected us to play better and we did,” coach James Wadley said. “Hopefully, we will continue to play better everyday. Eru (Lyndon) is continuing to play good, even though he is not winning, and the Nos. 1 and 2 doubles are playing well too.”
Junior Fran Krepelka and senior Chris Bates were the only two Cowboys who recorded victories.
Bates beat the Aggies’ All-American Dumitri Caradima, 6-1, 3-6, 6-1, earning his first Big 12 victory of the season, while Krepelka recorded his sixth-consecutive victory by defeating Tres Davis, 6-1, 6-4, improving his record to a team high 9-2.
“It feels great to finally come out with a victory,” Bates said. “I could tell he was vulnerable at times and I took advantage of it.”
OSU returns to action Wednesday as it hosts Wichita State at 1 p.m.
