You should be in the new arena they loved so much today. You should go with your family and friends. You should just go.
We know that the past few days have been a nightmare to say the least. Each day becomes more difficult than the last for many and the pain never seems to go away. But today, you have a chance to honor the people whose death has caused our deepest and darkest emotions to swell.
The memorial service is everyone’s chance to get together and support one another. It is a time for each person, regardless of any other characteristic, to share their burdens and possibly find relief with others who feel the exact same way.
Make sure you attend the memorial service today. This is more important than a football game or basketball game. It’s more important than Orange Peel and homecoming walkaround. Care for your school and those we’ve lost by being at the memorial service at 3 p.m. today in Gallagher-Iba.
