The service will honor those who died in Saturday’s plane crash.
“This is a hard time for the institution, and it is important for faculty and students who want to attend,” said Marvin Keener, executive vice president for student affairs.
“The administration has also been advised to allow employees the opportunity to attend, understanding essential functions that still have to happen.”
KOSU, campus channels 16 and 17, and Stillwater cable Channel 99 will air the memorial service live.
Nestor Gonzales, OSU news bureau manager, said several Oklahoma stations will cover the service, and feed from a satellite will be available to stations throughout the country.
Individual memorial services are scheduled throughout the week to encourage students to share thoughts, pray for family and friends and remember those who were lost.
The Church of Christ, 821 N. Duck, will have a service 8 p.m. Tuesday in the main auditorium. For more information, call Monty Daffern at 372-5682.

The Church of Christ will have another service 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Church of Christ Student Center, 821 N. Duck.
